You must see the city of Paris from the top! But where can you find the best view over Paris? There are so many options to view this beautiful city. But, due to time constraints you usually just cannot visit them all. This means you will have to make a choice. A difficult choice, but I will help you by sharing my favorite viewing spot: Arc de Triomphe.
Visit the Arc de Triomphe in Paris!
The Arc de Triomphe
My favorite viewing spot is on top of the Arc de Triomphe! From here you will see the Champs Elysees, The Eiffel tower, the Sacre Coeur and all the other iconic buildings. You will have a great 360-degree-view over the city. You literally are in center of town, and that’s the way it feels too. In all other places you will really have a lesser viewing experience, for example you will not see the Eiffel tower from the Sacre Coeur.

Place Charles de Gaulle
How do you get there?
You can easily reach the Arc de Triomphe by subway, station Charles-de-Gaulles Etoile.
• Avoid waiting lines by buying a ticket online.
• Best time to go is just before sunset! This way you will have a great view of the setting sun and a view of the city with all its lights.
I love the CitizenM Gare du Lyon Hotel. It’s great value for the money and I loved the check-in/out experience that is not dependent on hotel personnel. Breakfast was very nice. Location of the hotel is very central. This hotel is absolutely briljant and everything in the room controlled by technology. The absolute best bed I have ever slept in.
