The village of Pai is high in the mountains and surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful. The landscape is dominated by green rice fields and impressive mountains. Pai is located about 130 kilometers from Chiang Mai and the route to this village counts 762 square bends. Just the route to Pai is a special experience. Northern-Portugal is a region which is still purely Portuguese, varied and colourful. This region looks picturesque, primitive and full of character. Here sandy beaches are wide and long, the landscape is green and fertile and the people are friendly and hospitable. The biggest city in the region is Porto and this town is bubbly, charming and has multiple beautiful things to see. The Portuguese Traffic Bureau invited me to go hiking for a few days in the north of Portugal. I’ve enjoyed every step I took in this beautiful region! Sapa is an area in northern Vietnam, close to the Chinese border. It is the perfect place for a trek. You can do harder multi-day treks, but there are plenty of options for less fanatic hikers. A trekking in Sapa is great!
