I love the city of Bangkok and it is my favorite city in Asia. It is a city where you will not be bored for a second because of the abundance of sights and activities. The city is for many travelers the starting point of their trip through Thailand. Bangkok is a bustling city where I have seen beautiful temples, shopped perfectly, had a nice meal and always had a great time! It excites all of your senses and it is a city that you will always love for at least a bit. There are so many fun facts about Bangkok!

1. Bangkok currently has the record in the Guinness book of records for the longest place name. Bangkok is the short version of the ceremonial name “Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Yuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit”.

Tip hotel Bangkok

There are so many great hotels in Bangkok, but I’m always staying in the same hotel: Rambuttri Village Plaza. The location is fantastic: close to Khao San Road and it is quiet. The swimmingpool is great and the breakfast has a big choice and is tasty. Price about €22,- for a double room include breakfast.
